Each journal is a unique piece of art, a one-of-a-kind piece.

Junk journaling is a form of art journaling, where handmade books are created from found objects including vintage and recycled papers, lace, beads, photos, and memorabilia. Ephemera is a term for the decorations found throughout a junk journal. A themed Junk Journal is typically used for a specific event or holiday, to share your memories and thoughts through both art and writing. Some junk journals are used to jot down ideas or inspirations to look back on later.

Each piece is handmade in my home studio. Handmade items have natural and unique imperfections. These inconsistencies are what make each piece unique. As a result of the artistic process, each item will look a little different from the next.

Beauty of handmade items:

• Any item you purchase is a unique, one of a kind piece. There are no two items in my shop that are exactly alike.

• I strive to create pieces as I would want to receive if I were the customer. If the piece does not meet my standards, it does not get shipped out.

Once an item is purchased and delivered, no refunds are accepted. This is due to the nature of journaling products, in which one day’s use permanently changes the piece.

“The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now.”
